Band Solo and Ensemble Competition

Jake's ensemble

Jake and Emmy competed in the band competition at St. Mary's. The scores are III- to I+ with I+ being the highest possible score. Jake received I for both solo and ensemble. Emily received I- for both solo and ensemble. They both did really well.

Jacob turns 14!

Jake celebrated his birthday with class party at the bowling alley. They all came to the house afterwards for pizza and cake. He had a "boys only" sleepover. Gram, Pops and Rick were here on Sunday to celebrate with the family. Jake got a cell phone for his birthday. It was quite a surprise!!
