Today was the first day of school. Can you believe Jake and Emmy are both in Middle School?! Yikes!! It is getting harder and harder to get them to pose for photos. Jake is playing soccer for St. Mary's and Bootleggers. We are hoping he will be able to keep himself organized at school too! Emily is playing volleyball for St. Mary's. Wish us all luck - we'll need it!

Rain, Rain, Rain
We've had quite a bit of rain in Greeley lately... and it just seems to keep coming. Some of these photos were taken during recent storms. We have lost about 50% of our mulch to the newly formed river which seems to keep flowing through our yard. Kent has been busy digging ditches to keep the water diverted from the house. Thank goodness we have not had any water in our house! : )
Santa Fe 2008
We went to Santa Fe for the second annual Morris Family Reunion. We had great time. We took the scenic route to Santa Fe stopping in San Louis, CO and visiting the famous stations of the cross there. We then headed south to Taos. We were a little disappointed with how commercialized the Taos Pueblo has become. We arrived in Santa Fe early Friday evening. We enjoyed sharing some wine and stories with Greg, Vicki, Linda and Lew. The kids all took advantage of the pool. We spent Saturday checking out the plaza in Santa Fe and were able to tour a glass and bronze sculpting operation north of town. We had dinner with the gang including Lew's son, David and family. We went to mass on Sunday at the Cathederal in Santa Fe before heading home. The trip was far too short as usual.
