The Columbine Memorial

We had forgotton the memorial would be at the park. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Columbine School shootings - April 20, 1999. Its pretty sobering to be there.

A huge tire fire on HWY 85 on the way to Denver. It was huge! We had to take a detour to check it out!

They had games back to back - they didn't win either game, but kept things pretty tight considering they only had one sub and played two games in a row.

Jake - Track & Field

Jake is trying high jump for the first time this year. He beat last week's height by 2 inches today. He isn't quite ready for the olympics, but he's doing pretty good. Hey, it keeps in in shape and off the streets!

Emily turns 11!

Emily had a party with the family last weekend. The weather was great and we did some grillin'. Last night was her "sleepover" party. We went bowling from 9:30 until 11:30 with Em and her friends. As you all know this was well beyond mom and dad's bedtime!!
