Jake played in a soccer this last weekend with his new Bootlegger team. There are 5 new players to the team. They seemed to gel and play well together. They were undefeated and made it to the championships where they faced the first team they played and had beat 2 to 1. They were tied at the end of regular play and played two 5 minute halves with no scoring. They lost in a shootout. They were devistated - poor guys. But, hey they made it to the championships. We stayed at the Timberline Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing. The Lyman's stayed there too. We had a great time. We even did a little float down the Yampa River before we came home on Sunday. The weather was great and we found Steamboat to be beautiful!

Tempe, AZ
Putt Putt - mom won of course!
Jake with one big cactus
Dessert at Oregano's
A Tempe sunset
Jacob came along with Ann on a business trip to Tempe. We were able to see some sights - the gold mine at Apache Junction, play in the pool at the hotel, catch some miniture golf and laser tag. We also spent some time with Ann's brother Greg and his wife Marsha. It was monsoon season. They received 2-3 inches of rain the first night we were there. It was very balmy with temperatures over 100 everyday.
