Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas! We hope your Christmas holiday has been as blessed as ours. We went to Denver on Christmas Eve and had lunch with Greg, Vicki, Sam and Katy Morris, June Syverson (Grandma), Chris and Jo Sheets and Rob, Elena and Hope Wolf. We went to mass in Greeley on Christmas Eve. Today we had Christmas dinner with Kent's brother Rick at our house. Lots of snow and wind and cold! A very white Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

A very cold and snowy Thanksgiving morning!

Which one is the real turkey?

We spent Thanksgiving in Sterling with Gram and Papa. Kris, Don and Daniel were there as well as Rick and Bob and Grandma Lauer. We all ate too much turkey (of course).

Emily's last game

Emily played her last game of the season in Arvada. The Fusion won 2-0. The team they played had been undefeated. They had a great season. Some of the other teams in her division have make-up games to play, so we don't know the final rankings. They will be 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their division.

Emily as St. Emily de Vialar

Emily wrote a report on St. Emily de Vialar for school. She presented her report to her class on All Saints Day in costume. She did all the research and writing herself. It was a very good presentation and report.

Happy Halloween!

We continued our Halloween tradition by spending the evening with the Pierce's. Kris provided a great spread as usual. We had a fabulous time with the ghouls.

Soccer in Grand Junction

It was a "nail biter"

Emily and Ann travelled to Grand Junction last weekend and spent the night for her soccer game. The game ended in a tie which is better than a loss any day. We took a quick trip through the Colorado National Monument. Neither of us had ever been. It ended up being a beautiful side trip!
